Automotive Quality Rank: toyota fell to 21,ford first into the five

California market research firm JD Power & Associates (hereinafter referred to as “JD Power”)

released annual vehicle quality survey Thursday,it was report that the quality of ford and toyota’s namesake brand vehicles are ranked a record, Ford is the first time access to quality ranking of the top five, while Toyota fell the lowest level .

The report shows quality of Toyota’s namesake brand vehicles ranked from sixth fall to 21. JD Power ranks vehicles based on the number of car owners’ complaints in the first 90 days.
JD Power said, car brand which score high was performed better in customer retention. The survey shows that 59% of the owners during this time will once again buy the same brand of vehicle in terms of the highest quality cars,on the contrary, they  who’s cars are the poorest quality can only keep 44% of customers.

Vice President of Global Automotive Research David Sargent said that the issue toyota has plummeted down was related to the company’s activities of recall, While  in terms of  Ford Motor, it is a peak because of their 9 years continued to improve product quality, He pointed out that Toyota owners complain about most is the company’s recall-related components, such as the accelerator pedal and the foot pad and so on.
