Dow Jones industrial average rose 201.77 points -dow jones pre open
EST at 4:00 p.m. on the July 22, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 201.77 points to close at 10,322.30 points, or 1.99%; the Nasdaq composite index rose 58.56 points to close at 2,245.89 points, or 2.68%; Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 24.08 points to close at 1,093.67 points, or 2.25%.
Today’s Dow has once up over 242 points, AmeriCredit shares rose 21.6%.
American Real Estate Brokers Association (NAR) announced that the amount of second-hand housing sales in June up to 5.37 million, according to survey of Bloomberg News, average expectation of economists is 5.09 million, second-hand housing sales in May is 5.66 million.
U.S. Conference Board (Conference Board) reported that the leading economic indicators in June of United States fell by 0.2%, reading in May was revised up 0.5%,the average market forecast in June of leading economic indicators fell 0.3%.
