How soon, do you think, until the stock market comes back up?
(My family lost A LOT, as in MILLIONS over the last few days.
I was just wondering how soon, in other people’s opinions, until the stock market comes back. My dad said 10 years until it is a little better then it was before it basically crashed.)

I wrote an article that discusses the common aspects of a classic stock market bear to bull reversal, but it’s too long to post here. The set up hasn’t occurred yet, and there’s no guarantee that we will have a classic reversal, There are some people who think that there will be a quick recover, and others who think the market could sideways for 10 to 30 years.
In the end, you have to study the history of the markets, the various types of investments, and find ways to make money with and without a robust stock market.
In my opinion, high oil prices, sagging real estate prices, a general lack of savings in this country, and incredible debt buirden will make it difficult to impossible to have an economic recovery anytime soon.
