IMF president said that the global economy will not fall into the second recession
International Monetary Fund President Dominique Strauss-Kahn said on Tuesday that the IMF experts believe that the global economy will continue to recover, but this road of recovery is not flat.
When Kahn answered questions after a speech in Peterson Institute for International Economics, he showed that “the global economy will continue to recover, it will not fall into the second recession.” He acknowledged that there exist downside risks and many negative factors to the global economy , but the International Monetary Fund think that the economy will continue to grow.
Kahn also defensed for the leaders of the Group of 20 countries to reducing the fiscal deficit,he said that each country must control spending in a given period, He also said a weak euro will lead that European trade surplus will not pose a threat to the global economy.
