Regional Russian prosecutors ask courts to limit access to banned party website
Employees of the prosecutor’s office in Tyumen Region have uncovered a website on the internet belonging to the banned National Bolshevik Party, whose activity was deemed extremist according to Moscow City Court’s verdict of 19 April 2007. This was reported to ITAR-TASS today by the press service of the supervising authority.
“Policy documents of the party and promotional material containing banned symbols are located on the website. The material on the website contains appeals to join and take part in the activities of the National Bolshevik movement,” said the press service.
As a result, the prosecutor’s office has asked a court to compel the internet provider connecting corporate entities and private individuals to the internet in Tyumen Region to restrict access to this website.
