The Commerce Department reported housing starts in June fell by 5% figure, the fell was higher than expected; annualized figure fell to 549,000 units by seasonally adjusting, the market is expected to decline 3.2%, building permits increased, building permits last month, an increase of 2.1%, the number rose to 586,000 annualized units, economists expected growth of 0.7%.
New York crude oil futures prices closed up 0.9% to close at 77.58 U.S. dollars a barrel, Gold futures rose 9.8 U.S. dollars to close at 1191.7 U.S. dollars.
