At 4:00 p.m. on the July 20 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 75.61 points to close at 10,230.04 points, or 0.74%; the Nasdaq composite index rose 24.26 points to close at 2,222.49 points, or 1.10%; Standard & Poor’s 500 index rose 12.23 points to close at 1,083.48 points, or 1.14%.
