What age would a kid be interested in the stock market?

(I am wondering at what age a boy would be interested in what the stock market was and how profits are made?)

Answer:

Some kids love money from the moment they hear about it. My nephew asked Santa for a safe to keep his money when he was about 3. He loved to collect gold colored dollars and at 4 had over $1,040 in his bank account saved from gifts.
He might have appreciated some shares of a company he knew at 3-4 like McDonalds or Disney. He started his own company at 2. He told his grandmother he wanted a factory to make orange juice. She made him one from a cardboard box, orange juice bottle and funnel but he insisted he needed a converse belt to bring the supplies. He was going to make orange juice to sell at Costco and charge a dollar, because everyone has a dollar. He had a landscaping business at 4 charging a penny a weed and a dollar to dig up a tree. His grandfather refused to pay for weeds but let him dig up a rhododendron. They made him come in when it got dark and he wasn’t done yet but he has always liked owning small businesses. His dad owns some businesses so he hasn’t ever really seen the concept of a job.
He would like investing now at 12 if he had enough to make it worth his time but at 4 would have loved to own McDonalds.
