The stock markeet crashed because people bought stock in margin which meant they paid for part of the stock and when the stock prices started to fall everyone withdrew their money so they wouldn’t lose all their money then there was no money in the stock market and it needed the people to pay the other part of the stock the bought but they had no money so they went to the bank which couldn’t hold every bit of everyone money so the banks closed people couldn’t pay of the stock and it crashed don’t know about what Hoover did but new deal programs developed by FDR created jobs for people unemployed hope I helped
