Why are there no country songs about people losing money in the stock market?

(Every country song with a sad or depressing theme is always about relationships going bad or losing a lover. If losing money in the stock market is worse than breaking up with a gf/bf, why to this day has no one ever written a song about someone being depressed because they lost money trading?)

Answer :

Maybe because country music people realize that, as Porter Wagoner sang:

“Money can’t buy back your youth when you’re old
Or a friend when you’re lonely or a love that’s grown cold
The wealthiest person is a pauper at times
Compared to the man with a satisfied mind.”

Or they know what Eddy Arnold knew in the song “The Richest Man in the World:”

“I don’t have much bank account, my cash on hand is small
But tell me, what are riches but contentment after all?
Other folks may think I’m poor but I know it’s not so
‘Cause when I count my blessings I’m the richest man I know.”
